    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

STELLA is the native and deprecated governance token of StellaSwap, a decentralized exchange operating on the Moonbeam network that officially sunset and wound down operations on July 31, 2026. Two sections (Community Support and Market and Use Case) were scored -1.0 due to data gaps resulting from the protocol being completely defunct and abandoned, with staking APRs at 0% and TVL at $0; their weights were redistributed proportionally across remaining sections. Active development has ceased beyond legacy code, tokenomics utility has been rendered inoperative with the shutdown, and team governance confirms the project has reached end-of-life despite an orderly, non-malicious wind-down. Security history shows legitimate historical audits (SolidProof, CertiK, ABDK, Hexen, Code4rena) and no exploit losses, though an unresolved November 2024 ChainLight zapIn vulnerability and a severe price collapse further impair the profile. Because the project is permanently sunset and deprecated, the asset carries no remaining utility or investment viability.

    About StellaSwap (STELLA)

StellaSwap (STELLA) is a deprecated token associated with StellaSwap, a former automated market maker and decentralized exchange on the Moonbeam parachain that officially sunset operations on July 31, 2026. Operating from December 12, 2021, to its closure in 2026, the protocol provided decentralized trading infrastructure using Stable, V2, and V3 AMM models coordinated through a hybrid router. STELLA served as the governance and reward token for the platform, featuring an initial 50% supply burn that established a 250,000,000 maximum supply, fixed linear emissions, and vote-escrowed utility structures.

Throughout its operational history, StellaSwap engaged multiple security audit firms, including SolidProof, CertiK, ABDK Consulting, Hexen, Code4rena, and AstraSec. A January 2022 CertiK audit of the core token contract identified two major centralization and privilege findings that were acknowledged but not remediated. In November 2024, security firm ChainLight publicly disclosed an unremediated vulnerability within the protocol's zapIn function that introduced potential user slippage risks, though no confirmed exploits or financial losses were recorded.

Prior to shutting down, the project requested restructuring funding from the Moonbeam Treasury in March 2026. The protocol subsequently underwent an orderly wind-down, concluding all operations on July 31, 2026. Following the closure, staking annual percentage rates fell to 0% with total value locked dropping to $0, and the STELLA token experienced a near-total market value contraction and terminal decline in liquidity, rendering its utility and tokenomics mechanisms completely inoperative.
