    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

Nolus (NLS) presents a mixed profile characterized by active technical development alongside severely constrained market adoption and weak tokenomics. On the positive side, active development scores strongly (8.0/10) with verified updates, recent changelogs (such as Changelog 2026.8 in August 2026), and ongoing roadmap milestones like the Solana IBC integration. Security and audits (4.5/10) reflect robust foundations, including multiple public audits from Oak Security and Halborn, a verified CertiK score of 74.62, and no reported exploits or regulatory actions; however, the security score is constrained by an unrecovered price drawdown from its seed valuation. Team and governance (5.5/10) benefit from identified founders and reputable backers (DoraHacks, Everstake), though jurisdiction opacity in the BVI and limited on-chain proposal activity remain concerns. On the negative side, Community Support (3.5/10), Tokenomics (3.0/10), and Market/Use Case (2.5/10) show significant weaknesses, including micro-cap valuation (~$2M), thin 24-hour liquidity ($56K-$68K), supply reporting discrepancies, and minimal verifiable community engagement. No qualifying red-flag events were established. The overall score is calculated as the exact weighted average across all six fully evaluated sections.

    About Nolus (NLS)

Nolus (NLS) is a decentralized finance leasing and margin protocol operating on its own Cosmos-SDK-based Proof-of-Stake blockchain, known as the Pirin mainnet. Founded in 2021 by Kamen Trendafilov and Ivan Kostov and organized in the British Virgin Islands, the project raised a $2.5 million seed round in May 2023 from investors including DoraHacks, Everstake, Cogitent, Token Metrics, and Autonomy Capital. NLS serves as the native staking, transaction fee, and governance token for the Pirin network, alongside having a secondary presence as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum.

The protocol's architecture utilizes CosmWasm smart contracts and Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) connections, including extensions to networks like Solana. Nolus features an on-chain governance framework that allows stakers to vote on protocol parameters, treasury management, and network upgrades. The project's core codebases and money market contracts have undergone third-party security audits by firms such as Oak Security and Halborn, and the project maintains a public bug bounty program.

Despite active network maintenance and a lack of documented exploits or regulatory enforcement, NLS has experienced a severe, unrecovered price crash well in excess of 50% from previous levels, reducing its market capitalization to approximately $1.93 million to $2.16 million—below its initial seed funding total. The project also exhibits operational and market risks, including thin daily trading volume of roughly $56,000 to $68,000, unverified recent community governance turnout, and unresolved discrepancies in circulating supply reporting between third-party aggregators (~134 million NLS) and native staking explorers (~608 million NLS) against its 1 billion maximum supply.
