VeChainThor operates on a dual-token model consisting of VET and VeThor (VTHO), where holding and staking VET generates VTHO, which is used to pay for network transaction fees.
The VeChainThor network utilizes a consensus architecture managed by 101 validators and on-chain governance processes involving validators and StarGate NFT holders.
