    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

GIV (Giveth) represents an active public-goods and donation platform governance token with notable operational strengths offset by security, market, and community vulnerabilities. On the positive side, Giveth maintains an active multi-repository open-source development cadence across its contracts and dApps, coupled with a well-structured DAO governance framework utilizing Snapshot and structured funding rounds. However, the project faces several material risks: there is no record of a completed third-party smart contract audit, on-chain holder concentration is exceptionally high at 99.38%, on-chain community participation is narrow with stale governance forum activity, and the token experiences significant low liquidity and high FDV dilution (~5.7x gap). Note that Market and Use Case had insufficient data (-1.0) due to search query limitations and was excluded from the weighted average score calculation. No qualifying red-flag exploits or regulatory actions were identified.

    About Giveth (GIV)

GIV is an ERC-20 governance and rewards token for Giveth, a decentralized donation platform focused on funding public goods. Operating primarily on Ethereum and deployed across networks such as OP Mainnet, Gnosis Chain, Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Solana, the token functions as the core economic unit of the GIVeconomy. The token is integrated into various platform mechanisms, including GIVbacks donation reward programs, GIVpower staking, and GIVfarm liquidity incentives.

Governance of the protocol is coordinated through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) framework. Token holders participate in decision-making through off-chain voting via Snapshot and structured funding seasons. Technical development is maintained across several open-source repositories, covering smart contracts, application frontends, and API infrastructure, with security vulnerability reporting supported through a bug bounty program on Hats.finance.

Several structural and market risks have been identified regarding the token. Analysis shows that GIV has no completed third-party smart contract audits on record, and on-chain metrics indicate high holder concentration, with 99.38% of tokens held by top addresses excluding exchange and locked contracts. Additionally, the token features a circulating supply of approximately 17.7% of its 1 billion maximum supply, resulting in a ~5.7x dilution gap relative to its fully diluted valuation, alongside fragmented multi-chain liquidity, low trading volume, and stale governance forum activity.
