    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

Conflux (CFX) demonstrates strong active development characterized by major protocol upgrades (such as v3.1.0 in August 2026), active client SDKs, and a highly credentialed, publicly known founding team led by Fan Long with academic backing from Turing Award winner Andrew Yao. However, these technical and governance strengths are counterbalanced by significant structural weaknesses in tokenomics and market standing. CFX operates with an uncapped, net-inflationary token supply, dilutive staking rewards, and high historical insider concentration, contributing to an unrecovered ~97% drawdown from its all-time high. While the protocol maintains a clean security record with no reported hacks or chain compromises, public third-party protocol-level audit reports remain thin. Because no qualifying red-flag events occurred (the severe price drawdown is market-related rather than a protocol failure), the overall score is determined directly by the weighted average of the section scores.

    About Conflux (CFX)

Conflux (CFX) is a Layer-1 blockchain network built on a Tree-Graph consensus mechanism that features a dual-environment structure consisting of Core Space and an EVM-compatible eSpace. The native CFX token functions as the core utility asset across the network, facilitating transaction gas fees, storage rental mechanisms, staking, and decentralized governance voting within the Conflux DAO. The project was founded by a team led by Fan Long and includes academic association with Turing Award recipient Andrew Chi-Chih Yao.

The protocol has maintained ongoing software and network releases, including a 3.0 upgrade in July 2025 and the v3.1.0 network hard fork in August 2026, which implemented seven Conflux Improvement Proposals (CIPs). The network provides development tooling through client SDKs in Go, Java, and TypeScript, and maintains a milestone-driven grant program to support network integrations.

Despite an operational record with no reported protocol-level hacks or chain compromises, the project faces notable structural and market-related risks. The CFX token operates with an uncapped total supply and persistent net-inflationary issuance, with staking rewards (~4% annualized) funded through token dilution. Token holdings have historically exhibited heavy concentration among insiders and foundation-directed funds. Furthermore, the token has undergone a severe, unrecovered price crash of approximately 97% from its all-time high of $1.70, and public third-party security audits for the core Layer-1 protocol remain limited.
