    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

ZORA (Zora) demonstrates sustained active development with regular updates, cross-chain expansions, and public SDK releases, backed by top-tier institutional investors such as Coinbase Ventures and Haun Ventures. However, the project faces notable structural headwinds: insider allocation is high at approximately 65%, with multi-year unlocking schedules exerting potential continuous sell pressure, and community engagement metrics remain difficult to verify. Additionally, no formal third-party smart contract audits were verifiable in available records, and the bug bounty program was recently paused as of August 2026. On the positive side, no token-level exploits, insolvency events, or regulatory actions were identified, and the token maintains compliant Canadian platform support via Wealthsimple.

    About Zora (ZORA)

ZORA is the ERC-20 governance and utility token of Zora, an NFT and creator media protocol founded in 2020 and primarily deployed on Base. The token is integrated into Zora's ecosystem to facilitate protocol participation, platform incentives, and creator asset tooling, such as the Coins SDK and cross-chain integrations including Solana deposits. The project has received backing from venture capital firms including Coinbase Ventures, Haun Ventures, and Kindred Ventures.

The token launched with a fixed maximum supply of 10 billion units on Base. Insider allocations—including the team, investors, and protocol treasury—account for approximately 65% of the total token supply. A significant portion of the supply (around 43.7%) is subject to multi-year monthly vesting schedules ranging from 36 to 48 months, resulting in recurring unlock events and ongoing supply expansion. The token lacks a direct deflationary burn mechanism, and verifiable on-chain DAO governance processes have not been fully documented.

From a security perspective, no token-level exploits or loss-of-funds incidents have been confirmed against ZORA smart contracts. However, there are no verifiable third-party smart contract security audits available in public records, and Zora's formal bug bounty program was placed on pause in August 2026. In May 2025, a critical stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the web application's admin panel was responsibly disclosed by an external researcher, who raised concerns regarding the protocol's handling of the disclosure. The token remains actively traded and supported on platforms such as Binance and Wealthsimple under Canadian regulatory compliance frameworks.
