    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

XION presents a bifurcated profile characterized by strong technical execution and security practices against substantial market, community, and tokenomic headwinds. On the technical side, the project displays active Cosmos-SDK layer-1 development by Burnt Labs, evidenced by regular releases up to v30.0.0 (June 2026), mainnet upgrades integrating ZK proofs, and disciplined test coverage (Score: 7.5/10). Security is similarly robust with audits from Oak Security and Zellic, along with a responsibly remediated fee-enforcement flaw reported by Noctra Labs with zero fund loss (Score: 7.5/10). However, the project faces severe adoption and economic constraints: community presence is negligible with only ~300 tracked holders and an absence of active governance channels (Score: 1.5/10). Tokenomics are heavily concentrated, with ~67.3% allocated to insiders and protocol reserves, an unlock overhang through 2028, and staking emissions exceeding nominal max supply caps (Score: 4/10). Market liquidity is critically thin around a ~$10M micro-cap valuation (Score: 3.5/10). Note: A data gap exists for Team and Governance (Score: -1.0/INSUFFICIENT DATA) due to unverified entity attribution, and its weight was proportionally redistributed across the remaining sections.

    About XION (XION)

XION is a Cosmos-SDK layer-1 blockchain developed by Burnt Labs. The network incorporates protocol-level features including native zero-knowledge (ZK) proof verification and JWS/JWT authorization, which were deployed during a mainnet upgrade in April 2026. The native XION token functions primarily as a staking and security mechanism for the network's consensus layer, providing a staking yield of approximately 9.79% APR.

The protocol's codebase has undergone security audits by multiple independent firms, including Oak Security GmbH, Zellic (covering Xion Passkeys), and Safe Edges. In May 2025, a critical fee-enforcement vulnerability identified by Noctra Labs was remediated via a coordinated disclosure process, with no reported exploits or loss of user funds.

XION faces several tokenomic, community, and liquidity challenges. Although initially structured with a maximum supply cap of 200,000,000 tokens, continuous staking emissions have pushed the total tracked supply past that figure. Token distribution is concentrated, with insiders, strategic backers, and protocol reserves holding approximately 67.3% of the supply under an unlock schedule extending through December 2028. Furthermore, the asset operates as a micro-cap with a market capitalization around $10 million, accompanied by critically thin trading liquidity, a small holder base of approximately 300 addresses, and a lack of active community governance infrastructure.
