Comprehensive evaluation of the token
WMINIMA (Wrapped Minima) is an ERC-20 wrapper token designed as a transitional asset on Ethereum for the Minima Layer 1 network, which was officially deprecated and migrated to native MINIMA in March 2025. Data gaps were noted in Active Development and Community Support (both scored -1.0/insufficient data) as development and active community efforts have entirely transitioned away from the legacy wrapper to the native blockchain. Among the evaluated sections, Tokenomics scored 4.0/10 due to redundant utility, high team-controlled allocations, and severe price depreciation. Market and Use Case scored 1.5/10 reflecting extreme illiquidity, near-zero trading volume, and a >99% drawdown from all-time highs. Team and Governance scored 5.5/10, acknowledging a public and credible team under a Swiss Foundation structure, offset by centralized governance. Security and Audit History scored 4.5/10 due to a single protocol audit by Hacken with no dedicated audit for the ERC-20 contract itself, though no hacks or legal actions were identified. The overall score of 3.9 is the weighted average of the active sections with redistributed weights. Because WMINIMA is officially deprecated and liquidity has been migrated, the investment recommendation is Avoid.

About Wrapped Minima (WMINIMA)
Wrapped Minima (WMINIMA) is a deprecated ERC-20 token that migrated to the native Minima (MINIMA) blockchain following an official announcement on March 11, 2025. Deployed on Ethereum, WMINIMA functioned as a transitional wrapper asset created to facilitate the public presale and provide initial liquidity for Minima, a Layer 1 blockchain protocol designed to operate constructing and validating nodes on mobile and IoT devices. The wrapped asset was issued with a fixed supply of 125,000,000 tokens representing a fraction of the native Minima supply.
The project is overseen by a Swiss Foundation and AG corporate entity. Following the deployment of the native Minima network, active development and community focus shifted away from the wrapper asset to the native chain. To consolidate trading and network activity onto native MINIMA, the team removed Uniswap liquidity on March 14, 2025, and concluded exchange support for the ERC-20 wrapper.
WMINIMA has suffered significant market depreciation, falling more than 99% from its all-time high to trade at near-zero daily volume and minimal market capitalization. While the underlying Minima Layer 1 codebase underwent a third-party security audit by Hacken between late 2022 and early 2023, no dedicated smart contract audit was published specifically for the WMINIMA ERC-20 wrapper contract on Ethereum. Governance remains centralized under the Swiss Foundation without on-chain decentralized voting mechanisms.
