Comprehensive evaluation of the token
WGLUE (Wrapped Glue) suffers from severe data gaps across multiple key dimensions due to identity verification issues and search noise with unrelated entities, resulting in insufficient data (-1.0) for Active Development, Community Support, and Team and Governance. In the evaluable sections, Tokenomics scored 5.0/10, marked by heavy centralization with 73.43% allocated to the on-chain treasury and undisclosed vesting schedules despite multi-utility design on paper. Security and Audit History scored 5.5/10, acknowledging a Rust contract audit by Hashlock from August 2024 for underlying Glue contracts, but noting an absence of wrapper-specific audits and cross-chain bridge risks. Market and Use Case scored 2.0/10 due to effectively non-existent market activity, with trading halted across listed exchanges for roughly two months and negligible 24-hour volume (~$1.00). Accounting for the data gap redistribution across the three evaluable sections (Tokenomics 40%, Market 30%, Security 30%), the final score is 4.25/10.

About Wrapped Glue (WGLUE)
Wrapped Glue (WGLUE) is the wrapped representation of GLUE, the token of the Glue Network. The underlying network is designed to support an aggregated trading and earning hub, known as Glue Hub, operating within its Layer 2 ecosystem to combine self-custodial decentralized finance functionality with exchange usability. In addition to its native deployment on the Glue chain, WGLUE has been deployed across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Base, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, and Solana.
The underlying GLUE token was established with an initial total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. According to project documentation, GLUE is designed to function as a gas token across network layers, a staking asset for network security, a governance token, and a payment currency within the Glue Hub ecosystem. The initial token allocation designated 73.43% to an on-chain treasury, 15% to the founders, 10% to the foundation, 1% to seed contributors, 0.37% to LPB contributors, and 0.2% to other expenses. Formal vesting schedules, release cliffs, and explicit inflation rate caps are not published.
A smart contract audit of the underlying Glue Rust smart contracts was conducted by Hashlock in August 2024. However, no dedicated audits have been published for the multi-chain WGLUE wrapper contracts or their cross-chain bridging mechanisms, leaving custody and mint-and-burn operations unverified. In addition, the project faces notable data gaps regarding its development team and governance oversight, while market activity has effectively ceased, characterized by halted trading on listed exchanges and negligible trading volume.
