    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

Universal Basic Compute (UBC) is a failed Solana-based AI compute allocation token originally launched via pump.fun in November 2024. The project exhibits near-total collapse across all evaluated metrics: active development has stalled with no shipped roadmap milestones or verifiable smart contract audits (CertiK Skynet score of 53.98/100, Tier CCC), community engagement is non-existent, and governance remains centralized under a single developer (Nicolas Lester Reynolds). UBC suffered a catastrophic market collapse of over 99.9% from its late-2024 peak to a market cap of approximately $40,000 with negligible volume, and it experienced a hostile exchange delisting when Gate.io removed its trading pair from its Pilot market in May 2025 due to insufficient liquidity. With no independent security audits, severe key-person dependency, and de facto abandonment, the project presents extreme structural risks.

    About Universal Basic Compute (UBC)

Universal Basic Compute (UBC) is a largely abandoned cryptocurrency project launched on the Solana blockchain in November 2024 via pump.fun. Conceived by solo developer Nicolas Lester Reynolds, the token was intended to serve as a compute-allocation layer for artificial intelligence agents using a KinOS framework, a dual-token design, and proposed deflationary staking mechanics. The token had a fair-launch bonding curve distribution with a maximum supply of approximately 1,000,000,000 tokens.

The project has experienced stalled technical development, with whitepaper roadmap milestones remaining unexecuted and no verifiable software development kits, package releases, or functional governance proposals deployed. Development and governance have remained centralized under a single founder with acute key-person dependency, and no decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) or voting mechanism was operationalized. Furthermore, UBC operates without proprietary hardware infrastructure and lacks completed smart contract audits, holding a CertiK Skynet rating of 53.98 (Tier CCC).

Following its launch, UBC suffered a market collapse of more than 99.9% from its late-November 2024 peak of approximately $0.09667 (when market capitalization exceeded $80 million) down to a market cap of roughly $40,000 with near-zero trading volume. In May 2025, Gate.io delisted the UBC trading pair from its Pilot market due to insufficient liquidity and trading volume. With an inactive community and minimal repository updates, the token remains in a state of de facto abandonment.
