Comprehensive evaluation of the token
TKO is the utility token for Indonesian crypto exchange Tokocrypto (acquired by Binance). The project demonstrates significant fundamental weaknesses across multiple pillars: active software development is virtually stalled with stale repositories and no recent releases (1.0/10), and organic community engagement is negligible beyond basic on-chain holder counts and short-term trader commentary (1.5/10). Tokenomics (4.0/10) exhibit high supply overhang with only ~34% circulating and heavy insider/foundation concentration, alongside an operationally minor burn mechanism. Market positioning (2.5/10) is weak due to low capitalization, thin liquidity, and severe competition in the centralized exchange token sector. On the positive side, Tokocrypto maintains a public executive team, holds a formal PFAK regulatory license in Indonesia, and has no recorded exploits or insolvency incidents (Security: 4.0/10, Team & Governance: 5.0/10); however, the smart contract retains privileged minting capabilities with non-renounced ownership and audits have not been refreshed since 2022. No qualifying red-flag event triggers a mandatory cap, and the overall score reflects the exact weighted average across all evaluated sections.

About Tokocrypto (TKO)
TKO (Toko Token) is the native utility token of Tokocrypto, an Indonesian digital asset exchange established in 2018 and later acquired by Binance. Operating as a BEP-20 token on the BNB Chain, TKO is designed to support Tokocrypto's centralized exchange platform. Its intended utilities include exchange trading fee discounts, staking mechanisms, platform-specific mining rewards, and participation in quarterly token burn programs.
The project operates under centralized corporate governance led by an executive team that includes CEO Pang Xue Kai and COO Teguh Kurniawan Harmanda, without an active decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) or token-holder voting framework. In September 2024, Tokocrypto obtained a formal Physical Crypto Asset Trader (PFAK) license under Indonesia's regulatory framework. TKO has a maximum supply of 500 million tokens, with roughly two-thirds held in foundation reserves and internal allocations, creating a large supply overhang relative to its circulating supply.
TKO has undergone a sustained price drawdown of more than 50% from its historical peak that remains unrecovered. The project faces notable technical and operational risks, including stalled active development with no major contract updates or public roadmap milestones since 2022. Additionally, security audits from CertiK highlight structural centralization concerns, including an unrenounced ownership contract, mintable token capabilities, and a major holder concentration exceeding 70% of the circulating supply.
