    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

STRDY (Sturdy) functions as the governance token for the Sturdy lending protocol on Ethereum. The project exhibits significant fundamental weakness across multiple evaluation dimensions: development activity is unverifiable with no affirmative shipping evidence, community participation is stale with only 174 Snapshot followers and zero proposals over recent periods, and tokenomics suffer from heavy insider/treasury concentrations and an unitemized allocation gap. In the market, STRDY is under severe distress, reflected in an extremely low market capitalization (~$214K-$221K) and near-zero daily trading volume ($0-$32). Although Sturdy has undergone a V2 audit by ChainSecurity and contained an exploit in June 2023 (504 ETH loss), the absence of active development tracking and near-total loss of market traction make the asset a high-risk proposition.

    About Sturdy (STRDY)

Sturdy (STRDY) is the governance token for Sturdy Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol designed to provide leverage for yield farmers. The protocol launched on Fantom in March 2022 and expanded to Ethereum in June 2022. STRDY operates within the Sturdy DAO governance structure, which utilizes off-chain Snapshot voting for Sturdy Improvement Proposals (SIPs). The governance process requires a 1,000 STRDY proposal threshold, a 48-hour voting window, and a 100,000-vote quorum.

The token has a fixed maximum supply of 100,000,000 STRDY. According to protocol documentation, the initial distribution allocated 60.5% to the treasury without vesting, 19% to contributors with a three-year vesting schedule and a one-year cliff, 19% to investors under equivalent three-year vesting and one-year cliff terms, and 1.5% to airdrops. The protocol's V2 Aggregator codebase underwent an audit by ChainSecurity covering functional correctness and access control.

On June 12, 2023, Sturdy Finance suffered a security exploit targeting its ETH lending pool, resulting in a total loss of 504 ETH (including 442 ETH taken by the attacker). The protocol responded by pausing the affected contracts to prevent further unauthorized withdrawals. Following the incident and broader protocol changes, the community voted via SIP-025 to formally wind down the V1 product. The project currently faces low trading liquidity, stale governance activity, and unverifiable development updates.
