Comprehensive evaluation of the token
SAI is the legacy Single-Collateral DAI stablecoin originally issued by MakerDAO, which was deprecated and superseded by Multi-Collateral DAI in late 2019. Five out of six evaluation sections (Active Development, Community Support, Tokenomics, Team and Governance, and Security and Audit History) lacked sufficient project-specific data in retrieved sources, returning insufficient data (-1.0) scores due to identity collisions and the defunct status of the asset. The only scorable category, Market and Use Case, received a 1.0/10 due to near-zero trading volume, loss of price peg, and complete absence of an active product or operational use case. Because the asset is officially deprecated and abandoned, it should be avoided.

About Sai (SAI)
Sai (SAI) is a deprecated legacy stablecoin from MakerDAO that was superseded and frozen following the protocol's migration to Multi-Collateral DAI in late 2019. Originally deployed on the Ethereum blockchain as Single-Collateral Dai, the token was designed to function as a decentralized stable asset backed by a single collateral type before the Maker system expanded its collateral architecture. Governance of the legacy system was managed by MKR token holders rather than SAI holders.
Following its deprecation, SAI was abandoned by the market and retains no active development, dedicated community, or operative use case. The token has also experienced a severe depeg from its original target value, exhibiting near-zero trading volume and no continued functionality within the contemporary MakerDAO ecosystem.
