    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

ROSE (Oasis Network) presents a mixed profile with established engineering foundations balanced against market traction challenges. Development is verified and active (7.0/10) with an extensive multi-repository footprint and disciplined engineering, though third-party metrics suggest a slowing commit pace. Tokenomics (5.0/10) benefits from a 10 billion max supply cap with ~79–88% already released, though insider allocations remain relatively high (~53–58%) and the utility is standard for Layer 1 gas and staking. Market and use case dynamics (4.5/10) reflect weaker positioning with a modest ~$48M market cap and declining trading volume. The team (6.0/10) is led by credible founders and researchers (Dawn Song, Jernej Kos), though governance remains largely foundation-led. Security (6.0/10) is characterized by a clean operational track record with zero confirmed network exploits (an unrelated 2023 exploit of Oasis.app was correctly disambiguated and excluded) and an ongoing $1M ROSE bug bounty program with Hats Finance. Note that Community Support scored -1.0 due to insufficient retrieved data on current forum and DAO activity, and its 15% weight was redistributed proportionally across the remaining five sections.

    About Oasis (ROSE)

Oasis Network (ROSE) is a privacy-focused, modular Layer 1 blockchain architecture designed to support confidential smart contracts through runtime environments known as ParaTimes, including Sapphire, a confidential Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Founded by Dawn Song and directed by Jernej Kos, the network is developed and maintained in coordination with Oasis Labs and the Oasis Protocol Foundation. The native ROSE token launched in November 2020 and serves as the primary asset for network transaction fees, staking, and validator delegation. Wrapped representations of the asset also exist on other networks, such as BNB Smart Chain.

The tokenomics structure of ROSE specifies a maximum supply capped at 10 billion tokens, with approximately 79% to 88% of tokens in circulation and full vesting projected through August 2031. The network has recorded no direct core protocol security breaches or exploits. For ecosystem security, the Oasis Protocol Foundation launched a 1,000,000 ROSE bug bounty and audit pool in partnership with Hats Finance in June 2024 to support applications deployed on Sapphire.

Several structural and market risks have been identified across network evaluations. Governance remains centralized around foundation entities with a lack of documented on-chain DAO mechanisms, and initial token allocations reflect an insider share between 53% and 58%. Development tracking indicates a declining commit velocity alongside a lack of verified independent third-party audits of the core protocol itself. Additionally, the project faces market traction challenges, characterized by a modest market capitalization of approximately $48 million and thin daily trading volumes around $2 million.
