    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

Quai Network presents an intriguing dual-token Proof-of-Work architecture with active core development, including hard forks (Go-Quai v0.49.0 'SOAP Activation') and continuous client maintenance through mid-2026. The project benefits from a transparent, academically grounded founding team. However, the overall profile faces notable weaknesses across multiple pillars: community engagement is low with heavily concentrated token distribution (top 5 holders controlling ~83%), tokenomics carry substantial insider allocation (~47%) and supply ambiguity, and market traction has declined significantly with an 85%+ drop from ATH and low trading volume against PoW competitors. In addition, no third-party security audits were identified in retrieved data, though no security exploits, delistings, or regulatory actions were recorded. With no qualifying red-flag events triggering an overall score cap, the final rating directly reflects the weighted composite of its section scores.

    About Quai Network (QUAI)

Quai Network (QUAI) is a Proof-of-Work multi-chain protocol utilizing a Proof-of-Entropy-Minima consensus mechanism with merged-mined sub-networks coordinated by a Prime chain. The protocol is structured as a set of EVM-compatible blocksets and operates a dual-token system consisting of QUAI and QI. Its monetary framework incorporates adaptive supply mechanics, historical token burns, and transaction fee utility sinks. Development is managed by a public team under the Dominant Strategies organization, and the mainnet launched on January 29, 2025.

Core development on the network has proceeded through coordinated mainnet hard forks, including the Go-Quai v0.47.0 release in May 2025 and the v0.49.0 SOAP Activation in December 2025. The project's technical environment includes dedicated miner stacks, client maintenance, block explorers, live wallets, and decentralized exchange integrations. However, governance processes remain unverified, with no documented decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) or on-chain voting mechanism currently guiding protocol upgrades.

Following its launch in early 2025, the token experienced an 85%+ price decline from its all-time high, accompanied by low trading volume and a market capitalization dropping to between $7.7 million and $12 million. The project's tokenomics present potential risks, including an insider and private investor allocation of approximately 47% of the final supply, an unresolved discrepancy regarding whether the maximum supply is hard-capped or uncapped, and a concentrated ERC-20 holder base where the top five holders control 83.22% of tokens. Furthermore, while no security exploits, delistings, or regulatory actions have been recorded, no verified third-party security audits have been published for the network.
