Comprehensive evaluation of the token
PumaPay (PMA) is an abandoned and defunct cryptocurrency payment protocol originally designed for recurring billing. Active Development and Community Support could not be formally scored due to insufficient active data, as the project's official domain (pumapay.io) and documentation are offline, repositories have ceased development, and official communication channels are dormant or restricted. Among the remaining scored dimensions, PumaPay exhibits severe weaknesses: Tokenomics (2.0/10) suffers from heavy initial centralization and complete lack of organic merchant demand; Market and Use Case (2.0/10) is impaired by obsolete technology, zero trading volume, and market irrelevance; Team and Governance (1.5/10) reflects total project abandonment following the discontinuation of the native mobile wallet app on August 1, 2022; and Security and Audit History (3.0/10) notes no smart contract exploits but highlights an unrecovered 99.93% drawdown alongside hostile exchange delistings from Bittrex Global and OKX due to prolonged inactivity. Accounting for data gap redistributions, the calculated score is 2.1.

About PumaPay (PMA)
PumaPay (PMA) is an abandoned and defunct cryptocurrency payment protocol originally designed to facilitate recurring subscription billing and e-commerce transactions. Developed by Decentralized Vision Ltd, a Cyprus-based entity founded in 2017 by CEO Yoav Dror, the project launched after raising approximately $117 million across its token sale events in May 2018. PumaPay introduced the PullPayment Protocol to allow pre-authorized merchant deductions for digital billing and later expanded to Binance Smart Chain with liquidity pool staking features.
The tokenomics of PMA were established with a fixed total supply of 78,042,956,829 tokens minted at its May 2018 token generation event, distributed among ecosystem reserves (35%), the initial token sale (20%), early investors (20%), the team and advisors (15%), and marketing operations (10%). Although the protocol underwent smart contract audits by firms including Hacken and experienced no recorded smart contract exploits or direct hack losses, it struggled with structural token centralization, limited merchant adoption, and obsolete infrastructure compared to newer payment streaming alternatives.
PumaPay has suffered severe operational breakdown and market deterioration. On August 1, 2022, the native mobile wallet app was officially discontinued, and the project's website (pumapay.io), documentation portals, and GitHub development subsequently ceased. The PMA token experienced an unrecovered price crash of approximately 99.93% from its September 2018 all-time high of $0.005969 down to roughly $0.000004234, and was subsequently delisted from centralized exchanges including Bittrex Global and OKX due to severe illiquidity and trading inactivity.
