Comprehensive evaluation of the token
OM represents the legacy token of MANTRA Chain, an RWA-focused Layer 1 built on the Cosmos SDK. The project demonstrates solid active development (score: 7.5) with ongoing upgrades (v6, v7, v8) and code releases, along with security audits conducted by Hacken and Oak Security with no verified smart-contract exploits. However, the token profile is weighed down by severe structural and market risks. In November 2025, MANTRA redenominated and migrated its native asset from OM to MANTRA at a 1:4 ratio, deprecating legacy contracts. Furthermore, OM experienced an unrecovered >90% market collapse in April 2025 following all-time highs of ~$5 in January 2025, leading to heavy valuation degradation and liquidity fragmentation across trading venues. Inflationary tokenomics and unlock schedules extending through 2029 introduce ongoing supply dilution. Given that OM is a legacy/deprecated ticker undergoing migration to the new MANTRA token, investors face heightened execution and liquidity risks.

About MANTRA (OM)
OM (MANTRA) is a legacy token that migrated to the MANTRA token at a 1:4 redenomination ratio in November 2025. MANTRA Chain is a Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK that utilizes the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol and incorporates a native Decentralized ID (DID) system focused on real-world asset (RWA) applications. Co-founded by John Patrick Mullin and Rodrigo Quan Miranda, OM originally served as the network's native asset for staking, on-chain governance, and transaction processing.
The project launched with a genesis supply of 1.777 billion tokens, of which approximately 97.9% were locked under multi-year vesting schedules extending through 2029. The tokenomics model incorporates governance-tunable inflation split between staking rewards and the MANTRA Chain Association treasury. MANTRA Chain has undergone security assessments by auditing firms including Hacken and Oak Security, with no documented smart contract exploits or protocol breaches in available records.
MANTRA has experienced significant market volatility and structural challenges. After reaching an all-time high of approximately $5 and a market capitalization of around $4.57 billion in January 2025, the token experienced a severe market collapse in April 2025, plunging over 90% alongside unresolved insider-dump allegations. Additional risks include ongoing supply dilution from scheduled token unlocks, liquidity fragmentation, and high holder concentration on deprecated legacy ERC-20 contracts during the network's transition to the new MANTRA token.
