    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

NPXS (Pundi X [OLD]) is a deprecated legacy ERC-20 token that has been completely superseded by PUNDIX following a 1000:1 token reduction and migration in 2021. Four sections (Active Development, Community Support, Tokenomics, and Team and Governance) were scored -1.0 due to insufficient data, as all active development, community engagement, liquidity, and governance have shifted entirely to the successor PUNDIX ecosystem, leaving the legacy contract defunct with zero circulating supply. The overall score of 2.0 reflects the weighted average of the remaining two sections: Market and Use Case (1.0) and Security and Audit History (3.0), each carrying equal 50% redistributed weight. Security analysis notes an unverified audit provenance and a June 2018 third-party exchange hack on Coinrail where centralized contract pause functions were used, though no contract exploits occurred. Under the deprecated/migrated token rule, NPXS carries an investment recommendation of Avoid.

    About Pundi X [OLD] (NPXS)

Pundi X [OLD] (NPXS) is a deprecated legacy ERC-20 token that migrated to the successor token PUNDIX following a 1000:1 token reduction in 2021. Originally deployed on the Ethereum blockchain, the NPXS token was part of the Pundi X ecosystem led by Zac Cheah. Following the migration, all active development, community engagement, governance, and utility shifted away from NPXS to successor initiatives, including PUNDIX, Pundi X Chain, f(x)Core, and Pundi AI.

As a superseded asset, the legacy NPXS token has zero reported circulating supply, zero market capitalization, and negligible trading volume. Holding NPXS provides no ongoing utility or liquidity, and market activity on the old token has effectively ceased, with the token experiencing a price collapse of over 99% from its all-time high.

Historically, the NPXS token was involved in security and centralized control incidents. In June 2018, approximately 2.6 billion NPXS were stolen from the Coinrail exchange during a third-party security breach, leading the perpetrator to sell stolen assets on IDEX. While the NPXS smart contract itself was not exploited, the Pundi X team intervened by utilizing a centralized pause mechanism to suspend the smart contract for 10 days during an investigation led by Korean law enforcement. Additionally, the audit provenance for the original NPXS smart contract remains unverified, and project disclosures note that Pundi X's activities are not licensed or regulated by financial authorities in multiple jurisdictions, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
