Comprehensive evaluation of the token
MUSE (Muse DAO) is a defunct decentralized project whose community formally voted to sunset the organization and distribute its treasury in March 2025. Three sections lacked sufficient data or evaluate a dissolved entity: Active Development (-1.0), Community Support (-1.0), and Security and Audit History (-1.0, where queries returned homonyms unrelated to the token). Excluding these sections and redistributing weights proportionally across Tokenomics (40%), Market and Use Case (30%), and Team and Governance (30%) results in a weighted score of 2.6. While initial supply mechanics included burned admin keys and fixed supply, the token has suffered terminal utility loss following the DAO's dissolution, accompanied by a >99.7% price drawdown from all-time highs and negligible liquidity. Because the project is officially sunset and inactive, the token presents severe capital impairment risks.

About Muse DAO (MUSE)
Muse DAO (MUSE) is a defunct token on the Ethereum blockchain that was formally sunset and abandoned following a community governance vote in March 2025. Originally established as a pseudonymous decentralized organization and NFT venture builder, Muse DAO served as the governance and fee-sharing entity for the NFT20 decentralized exchange (DEX). The MUSE token was designed to enable community governance over treasury allocations and protocol parameters, featuring mechanics such as burned admin keys and a circulating supply of approximately 676,780 tokens.
In March 2025, the DAO conducted a governance vote titled "Sunset the Muse DAO and Distribute the Treasury," which passed with 100% support across 2,128 votes. This action formally dissolved the DAO and initiated the distribution of its treasury assets, bringing an end to the protocol's operations and rendering the MUSE token's governance and fee-sharing utilities obsolete. All governance proposals and active protocol development ceased following the execution of this vote.
As a result of the project's dissolution and inactivity, the token has suffered severe market distress. MUSE experienced an unrecovered price drawdown of over 99.7% from its all-time high of $124.14, leaving it trading at a micro-cap valuation with negligible daily trading volume and minimal liquidity across secondary markets.
