    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

LIGHT (Bitlight) is an early-stage infrastructure project developing Bitcoin Layer-2 and smart-contract tooling using the RGB protocol and Lightning Network. While it demonstrates ongoing technical development with recent node upgrades and developer sandbox releases, the project faces structural vulnerabilities across multiple dimensions. Tokenomics present significant risk due to a low initial circulating supply (~6–10%), heavy insider allocation (~86% non-public at TGE), and multi-year vesting overhangs. In addition, LIGHT has experienced a severe ~96% drawdown from its all-time high. On security and governance, Bitlight holds basic token contract audits via CertiK (Skynet score 70.68) with no exploits on record, but lacks public audits for its core RGB protocol infrastructure, and governance remains centralized under Bitlight Labs. Note: Community Support lacked sufficient data to be scored (-1.0) and was excluded from the weighted score calculation.

    About Bitlight (LIGHT)

LIGHT is the native utility token of Bitlight Labs, a project developing Bitcoin Layer-2 and smart-contract infrastructure based on the RGB protocol and the Lightning Network. Designed to expand programmability on Bitcoin, the project provides developer sandboxes, wallet tooling, and RGB Lightning Network node infrastructure. The LIGHT token is deployed on BNB Chain and is integrated into the Bitlight infrastructure framework.

The project was founded by Valestin Yang and launched its token in late 2025. LIGHT has a fixed maximum supply of 420 million tokens. Token distribution is heavily insider-weighted, with approximately 86% of the supply allocated to non-public categories at the token generation event—including 13.59% for private sales and 10.77% for the team and advisors—leaving a circulating supply of roughly 6% to 10.3% subject to multi-year vesting schedules.

Bitlight has experienced significant market turbulence, including an unrecovered price decline of approximately 96% from its all-time high of $4.78. Additionally, the project faces governance and verification risks; governance remains centralized under Bitlight Labs without active decentralized voting mechanisms. While the token's BNB Chain contract underwent an audit by CertiK with a Skynet security score of 70.68 and has no recorded exploits, public security audits have not been verified for the underlying RGB protocol infrastructure.
