Comprehensive evaluation of the token
LAUNCHCOIN (Launch Coin on Believe) is a deprecated and migrated token that has effectively ceased active operations. Active Development and Team and Governance lacked forward-looking verifiable data (-1.0) as the token was replaced by BELIEVE via a 1:1 migration window ending in October/November 2025, after which non-migrated LAUNCHCOIN tokens were burned. Among the evaluated sections, Community Support scored 1.5/10 due to thin engagement and no DAO governance; Tokenomics scored 3.0/10 reflecting zero formal utility, unilateral 25% supply dilution during migration, and fee accrual directed to the platform rather than token holders; Market and Use Case scored 2.0/10 due to conflicting data, illiquidity, and a >99% price collapse; and Security scored 1.5/10 due to the absence of security audits, mutable contract metadata, and an active securities class action filed on March 23, 2026 (Lee, et al. v. Pasternak, et al., case number 1:26-cv-02368 in S.D.N.Y.). The weighted average across the four scored sections produces an overall score of 2.1/10.

About Launch Coin on Believe (LAUNCHCOIN)
LAUNCHCOIN (Launch Coin on Believe) is a deprecated token on the Solana blockchain that migrated to BELIEVE between October and November 2025. The project originated as a personal memecoin named PASTERNAK before rebranding to LAUNCHCOIN and serving as the focal asset for Believe, a Solana-based launchpad founded by Ben Pasternak that enabled token creation through X (Twitter) replies. On October 16, 2025, the team announced a 1:1 migration to the BELIEVE token with an upgrade window ending October 29, 2025, and a final claim deadline on November 12, 2025, after which active support ceased and unmigrated tokens were permanently burned.
The token's design lacked decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance, formal vesting schedules, or built-in revenue-sharing mechanisms for token holders, as launchpad fees accrued directly to creators and the platform. During the migration to BELIEVE, the total token supply was unilaterally expanded by approximately 25% (increasing from approximately 1.064 billion LAUNCHCOIN to 1.33 billion BELIEVE), introducing new allocations for contributors, early investors, and foundation initiatives.
LAUNCHCOIN experienced a severe price collapse exceeding 99% from its peak and has faced substantial legal and technical scrutiny. The platform operated without third-party security audits and utilized mutable token metadata. On March 23, 2026, a securities class action lawsuit (Lee, et al. v. Pasternak, et al., Case No. 1:26-cv-02368) was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Ben Pasternak, B24 Inc., and the Believe Foundation. The lawsuit alleges that the platform facilitated scam tokens and that insiders extracted $54 million in fees through the migration process.
