Comprehensive evaluation of the token
GXChain (GXC) is a legacy asset that has undergone migration and rebranding to REI Network, with active development on the original GXC codebase ceased following a December 2021 Foundation restructuring proposal. Data gaps were encountered in Active Development and Community Support (both scored -1.0 due to cessation of activity and lack of verifiable project-specific community data), and these sections were excluded with their weights redistributed. The remaining sections reflect a dormant legacy token with weak market liquidity, stale documentation, centralized governance history, and an outdated 2020 CertiK audit. Because GXC is a deprecated and migrated token, the investment recommendation is set to Avoid.

About GXChain (GXC)
GXChain (GXC) is a deprecated legacy token that migrated and rebranded to REI Network following a December 2021 restructuring proposal. Originally founded in 2016 by Minqiang Huang, GXChain was built as a public Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) blockchain intended to facilitate a global data economy, data-exchange marketplaces, and Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) products. Following the Foundation-driven migration proposal, original codebase development was halted, and cross-chain token mapping was initiated for holders transitioning to REI Network.
The GXC token was established with a total supply of 100,000,000 units and featured mild inflation through DPoS block validation rewards. Within the legacy GXChain ecosystem, the asset served as the native medium for network transaction fees, validator staking, governance participation, and settlement for data access services. However, published distribution vesting schedules and concrete ongoing emission breakdowns were not transparently maintained in public documentation.
GXC operates as a dormant asset characterized by significant drawdowns from its historical all-time highs and constrained liquidity across trading venues. Security oversight relies on a single historical audit completed by CertiK in September 2020, with no recent smart contract or network reviews conducted. While no technical exploits or regulatory enforcement actions have been documented, governance remains centralized, as demonstrated by the unilateral foundation-level restructuring that phased out the original GXC ecosystem.
