Comprehensive evaluation of the token
Credefi (CREDI) is an RWA and SME crypto-lending protocol based in Bulgaria. While the project exhibits ongoing technical roadmap execution—evidenced by the Credefi 3.0 upgrade in 2025 featuring NFT bonds and xCREDI staking—its broader investment fundamentals remain severely impaired. The project suffers from extremely low liquidity, a tiny market capitalization under $500K, and a ~99.8% drawdown from its all-time high with minimal verifiable TVL or real adoption. Community engagement and governance participation are nearly nonexistent. Tokenomics face sustained unlock dilution against negligible platform yield (0% staking APR). From a security perspective, Credefi has only a single, outdated CertiK audit from 2021 with unresolved centralization privilege findings that fails to cover later architectural deployments, though no protocol-level exploits or regulatory actions were identified. With a weighted score of 4.1/10 and severe liquidity constraints, the token presents elevated risk.

About Credefi (CREDI)
Credefi (CREDI) is a decentralized real-world asset (RWA) and peer-to-peer crypto-lending protocol designed to connect decentralized finance lenders with small and medium enterprise (SME) borrowers. Operated by Credefi Ltd. and based in Sofia, Bulgaria, the project was founded in 2020 by CEO Ivo Grigorov and received backing from Varys Capital. The primary token, CREDI, is deployed as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain.
The protocol operates a dual-token model consisting of CREDI and xCREDI, intended for staking, protocol revenue sharing, and governance. The token has a maximum supply of 1 billion units, distributed across private sale, public sale, team, reserve, and ecosystem allocations. Technical updates to the platform include the Credefi 3.0 release in June 2025, which introduced tradable non-fungible token (NFT) bonds, RWA lending structures, and xCREDI staking, followed by an initial governance vote in November 2025.
Credefi faces substantial market and security risks. The token has suffered a severe price crash of approximately 99.8% from its all-time high of $0.3177, resulting in a micro-cap market valuation under $500,000, constrained trading liquidity, and a small holder base. Furthermore, the protocol's security review history relies on a single CertiK audit conducted in August 2021, which left seven acknowledged findings unresolved, including a major centralization and privilege finding. This audit does not cover later codebase deployments, and the project lacks a verified public code repository.
