Comprehensive evaluation of the token
SwissBorg (BORG) exhibits solid operational performance, active feature shipping, MiCA-compliant regulatory standing, and a well-doxxed leadership team led by CEO Cyrus Fazel. The tokenomics model incorporates deflationary buyback and burn mechanisms against a fixed 1 billion supply, though token demand remains heavily tied to platform utility and centralized corporate governance. Before red-flag adjustments, the weighted average score across all six evaluated sections was 6.2/10 (Active Development: 7.5, Community Support: 5.5, Tokenomics: 6.0, Market and Use Case: 6.0, Team and Governance: 7.0, Security and Audit History: 5.0). However, the overall score is subject to the Red-Flag Cap due to a recent severe exploit meeting all four criteria: "In September 2025, SwissBorg suffered an approximately $41–41.5 million theft (~193,000 SOL per ZachXBT's reporting) through a compromised partner API affecting its SOL Earn staking program, run with staking partner Kiln." Because this severe >$10M loss occurred within the last 24 months, the overall score is capped at 5.0.

About SwissBorg (BORG)
BORG is the native utility token of the SwissBorg crypto wealth-management platform and the rebranded successor to the legacy CHSB token. Operating on both Ethereum as an ERC-20 token and on Solana via Wormhole's Native Token Transfers (NTT) infrastructure, BORG supports the SwissBorg application ecosystem. The platform provides retail wealth-management services, including digital asset exchange, yield-generating Earn strategies, launchpad access via BorgPad, and trading vaults.
The token operates with a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens with no protocol inflation. Deflationary mechanisms include periodic community-voted token burns and company-managed buyback programs linked to platform performance metrics. Within the application, BORG functions as a utility and governance asset, granting access to premium fee tiers, staking perks, Guardians Pool rewards, and participation in in-app governance referendums.
SwissBorg is led by CEO Cyrus Fazel and operates under regulatory compliance frameworks in Europe, including French PSAN registration and European Union MiCA CASP authorization. Despite its regulatory standing and smart contract audits by Hacken and other firms, the platform has encountered operational security risks. In September 2025, an estimated $41–41.5 million (~193,000 SOL) was stolen from SwissBorg's SOL Earn staking program due to a compromised API at third-party staking partner Kiln. While SwissBorg's core custody infrastructure was not breached, the company allocated SOL from its corporate treasury to reimburse affected user losses. Additional structural risks include app-centric governance that depends on corporate oversight rather than a decentralized autonomous organization, as well as reliance on third-party integrations and cross-chain bridging systems.
