Comprehensive evaluation of the token
BinaryX [OLD] (BNX) represents the legacy, deprecated BEP-20 contract (0x8c851d1a123ff703bd1f9dabe631b69902df5f97) on BNB Smart Chain that was superseded following a deliberate team-led token split and migration in 2023. As a result of this migration, the legacy token has been rendered functionally obsolete with near-zero trading volume, minimal liquidity restricted to a single DEX pool, and stranded unswapped tokens. Three sections lacked sufficient active data and were excluded from scoring (scored at -1.0): Active Development, Community Support, and Market and Use Case, as all active development, roadmap updates, community engagement, and market utility have shifted entirely to the new contract. Among the evaluable sections, Tokenomics scored 2.0/10 due to conflicting supply metrics, lack of ongoing utility, and concentration risks; Team and Governance scored 5.5/10, acknowledging backing from Binance Labs and absence of exploits despite anonymous core developers; and Security and Audit History scored 2.5/10 due to residual DEX liquidity and an unrecovered post-migration price collapse. Based on the proportional redistribution of weights across the remaining categories (Tokenomics 40%, Team and Governance 30%, Security 30%), the weighted average score is 3.2/10. Under the deprecated token rule, investors should strictly avoid this legacy asset.

About BinaryX [OLD] (BNX)
BinaryX [OLD] (BNX) is a deprecated BEP-20 token on the BNB Smart Chain that migrated to a new contract following a team-led token split in 2023. Originally launched as the governance and utility token for the BinaryX GameFi platform, the asset was primarily utilized for platform governance and in-game consumption within titles such as CyberDragon. Following the contract migration, all active development, roadmap milestones, ecosystem utility, and community engagement shifted entirely to the successor BNX token.
The initial token distribution allocated 33.33% to genesis mining, 26.67% to initial liquidity, 30% to marketing and liquidity provider reserves, and 10% to the core team, with no publicly disclosed vesting schedules for reserve and team allocations. While the project received backing from Binance Labs and nominally organized governance through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), the core development team operates anonymously, and the legacy token lacked documented binding on-chain proposals.
Following its deprecation, the legacy BNX token has experienced an unrecovered drawdown of more than 50% from prior valuations, leaving unswapped assets effectively stranded. The token is functionally obsolete with near-zero trading volume, conflicting supply reporting across aggregators, and residual liquidity largely confined to a single PancakeSwap (v2) trading pool. No smart contract exploits, hacks, or regulatory actions were recorded against the legacy contract.
