    AI Analysis

    Comprehensive evaluation of the token

Bent Finance (BENT) demonstrates severe fundamental failure across all evaluated dimensions. Three sections (Active Development, Community Support, and Team and Governance) lacked sufficient verifiable data (-1.0) due to an absence of retrievable documentation, active public channels, or relevant governance disclosures, and were excluded from the weighted scoring. For the scored sections, Tokenomics received 1.0/10 due to an undocumented utility profile and 0% circulating supply out of ~50M tokens. Market and Use Case scored 1.0/10, showing near-zero liquidity, negligible volume ($0 to $151 daily), and no defined roadmap. Security and Audit History scored 1.5/10 following the December 2021 pool exploit where ~$1.75M to $1.8M was drained via an accounting flaw assessed as a probable insider exploit, leaving the project in a defunct/abandoned state. The weighted average of remaining sections yields an overall score of 1.2/10.

    About Bent Finance (BENT)

Bent Finance (BENT) is an abandoned ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain that operated as part of the Bent Finance staking protocol, historically associated with Sushi LP staking. The token features a total supply of approximately 50,008,799 BENT with an undocumented utility framework, an unverified team, and no documented emission schedules or active circulating supply metrics.

In December 2021, Bent Finance suffered a major protocol exploit that resulted in the theft of approximately $1.75 million to $1.8 million (roughly 440 ETH) through a reward-distribution accounting vulnerability. On-chain post-mortems indicated that the exploit was likely an inside job, as malicious code was injected into two liquidity pools by a developer during a transition window prior to multisig wallet activation. Approximately 240 ETH of the drained assets was subsequently laundered through Tornado Cash, and the team publicly advised users to withdraw remaining funds from the platform.

Following the exploit and shutdown advisory, Bent Finance ceased operations and remains defunct. The project displays no ongoing software development, governance processes, or active public community channels, and the BENT token retains minimal market liquidity and negligible trading volume across secondary markets.
