Comprehensive evaluation of the token
BELT (Belt Finance) exhibits severe structural weaknesses alongside substantial data gaps across multiple operational areas. Four out of six evaluation sections—Community Support, Tokenomics, Market and Use Case, and Team and Governance—lacked verifiable cryptocurrency-specific data and received scores of -1.0. Among the assessable dimensions, Active Development scored 1.0/10 due to a total absence of verifiable code commits, governance updates, or shipping activity across official repositories and channels. Security and Audit History scored 2.0/10, driven by a history of critical vulnerabilities including a May 29, 2021 flash-loan exploit on the 4Belt pool that resulted in the extraction of approximately 6.2 million BUSD and direct pool losses for users, an unverified audit pedigree, and an unrecovered >50% token price drawdown. Combining the available weighted sections yields an overall score of 1.4/10.

About Belt (BELT)
Belt (BELT) is the native governance and reward token of Belt Finance, an automated market maker (AMM) and yield-optimization protocol operating on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). The token was designed to support the protocol's liquidity pools and yield mechanisms on the network.
On May 29, 2021, Belt Finance suffered a major security incident involving a flash loan exploit on its 4Belt liquidity pool. An attacker repeated the exploit across eight transactions, extracting approximately 6.2 million BUSD. The breach resulted in fund losses of 21.36% for beltBUSD pool depositors and 5.51% for 4Belt pool users. Following the exploit, the market price of the BELT token fell by more than 50%, declining from $61 to approximately $29. Security analytics reports also noted a December 20, 2021 incident where an attacker moved roughly 240 ETH through Tornado Cash, though reporting cited naming ambiguities between Belt Finance and Bent Finance.
Belt Finance currently exhibits no verifiable active development across its public repositories, changelogs, or governance channels. Additionally, the protocol lacks verifiable audit reports from recognized security firms, and significant information gaps exist regarding its ongoing tokenomics, community governance, and team operations.
