Comprehensive evaluation of the token
BEETS-LEGACY represents the deprecated predecessor governance token of Beethoven X, originally deployed on Fantom and Optimism. Active Development and Community Support sections were excluded from scoring (-1.0) due to data gaps resulting from the protocol's migration to a new ecosystem (Sonic) and cessation of activity on this legacy asset. Among the evaluated sections, Tokenomics scored 3.5/10 due to a hard cap of 250M with ~96% circulating supply, but zero residual utility following migration. Market and Use Case scored 1.5/10, driven by an unrecovered 99.8% drawdown from all-time highs, depressed market cap, and near-zero daily DEX trading volume. Team and Governance scored 4.5/10 reflecting documented DAO mechanics but anonymous team members and dormant governance. Security and Audit History scored 3.5/10, noting a clean historical audit record with no protocol exploits, though heavily constrained by extreme liquidity decay and deprecation. Per the Deprecated/Migrated Token Rule, this legacy token carries extreme holding risk.

About Beethoven X (Legacy) (BEETS-LEGACY)
Beethoven X (Legacy) (BEETS-LEGACY) is a deprecated token that previously functioned as the native governance and reward asset for the Beethoven X decentralized exchange before the protocol migrated its ecosystem to Sonic. Originally launched on Fantom Opera in September 2021 and subsequently deployed on Optimism, Beethoven X was developed as an automated market maker (AMM) based on Balancer V2 architecture. The token was structured with a fixed maximum supply of 250,000,000 units and incorporated a vote-escrow locking model (fBEETS) intended for protocol fee sharing and Snapshot-based DAO governance.
Following the protocol's transition to a successor asset on Sonic, active development and community support for BEETS-LEGACY ceased. The token suffered an unrecovered price crash of roughly 99.8% from its all-time high of $2.59 in October 2021 down to an all-time low of approximately $0.002104 in July 2026. Coupled with the project website going offline in July 2026, the legacy token retains negligible trading volume, minimal decentralized exchange liquidity, and severe slippage risks.
Historically, Beethoven X completed a smart contract audit with CertiK in March 2022 with no unresolved critical issues and maintained a bug bounty program on Immunefi. The protocol experienced no recorded smart contract exploits, bad debt events, or regulatory actions. Nonetheless, the core development team remains undisclosed, and the BEETS-LEGACY token is formally discontinued with no active utility.
