Comprehensive evaluation of the token
EvidenZ (BCDT) aims to provide blockchain-based credentialing and diploma verification. While the core team remains publicly identifiable and no security exploits, regulatory actions, or hacks have been recorded, the project exhibits severe dormancy across multiple dimensions. Active development has completely stalled with no public GitHub or development updates found. Community engagement and on-chain activity are near zero, with just 17 transactions recorded over the trailing 90 days. Furthermore, the token suffers from extreme illiquidity ($5.92 in 24-hour trading volume), making price discovery non-functional. The tokenomics feature a hard cap of 40M tokens and theoretical deflationary burn mechanics, but an aging 2020 CertiK audit, centralized governance, and absent recent activity make BCDT high-risk and economically inactive.

About EvidenZ (BCDT)
EvidenZ (BCDT), formerly known as BCdiploma, is a blockchain-based credentialing framework designed to issue tamper-proof diplomas, certifications, and academic records. Operating as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network since its deployment in December 2017, BCDT functions as the utility fuel required by institutions to generate and register credentials on the platform. The project was co-founded by Luc Jarry-Lacombe and Vincent Langard following an initial coin offering (ICO) in January 2018.
The tokenomics of BCDT include a fixed supply cap of 40 million tokens with no additional minting mechanisms. The framework incorporates a deflationary model in which a portion of BCDT is burned during certification events. Governance remains centralized within the founding team, without an active decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) or on-chain voting infrastructure. The project's smart contracts received an audit by CertiK in 2020, though the codebase is only partially open-source, with major components maintained in private repositories.
While no smart contract exploits, regulatory proceedings, or security breaches have been recorded, the EvidenZ ecosystem exhibits severe operational dormancy. On-chain metrics demonstrate minimal usage, recording only 17 transactions over a 90-day period. Public development activity, GitHub updates, and formal community engagement channels have largely stalled. Furthermore, the token experiences extreme market illiquidity with negligible daily trading volume, hindering regular price discovery.
