Comprehensive evaluation of the token
AIT Protocol (AIT) demonstrates severe operational, developmental, and market degradation. Active development has completely stalled with repositories dormant for over 18 months, leading external business databases to list the project as out of business. The Community Support section lacked sufficient functioning data (scored -1.0) due to complete social abandonment and negligible decentralized exchange liquidity (~$1.8K), requiring weight redistribution across the remaining five sections. While the protocol has not suffered any smart contract exploits ($0 losses reported) and underwent basic audits (SolidProof, CertiK), its governance is highly centralized with pseudonymous leadership and its Bittensor subnet initiative was abandoned. The token has experienced a catastrophic drawdown of over 99.9% from its all-time high, leaving it with negligible volume and micro-cap status.

About AIT Protocol (AIT)
AIT Protocol (AIT) is an abandoned decentralized artificial intelligence data infrastructure project that operated primarily on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token. Designed to address data labeling bottlenecks in AI model training, the protocol introduced a "Train-to-Earn" economic model alongside an initiative on Bittensor. The AIT token was intended to serve multiple functions, including rewarding data annotators, settling marketplace transaction fees, staking for validation, and governance. While originally launched with a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens, buyback-and-burn mechanisms reduced the total supply to approximately 297.6 million AIT.
The project's smart contracts underwent third-party code audits by SolidProof and CertiK, with no recorded exploits or direct losses of protocol funds. However, governance and contract controls remained centralized under team-controlled operational addresses with pseudonymous leadership, lacking an active on-chain decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). Furthermore, the protocol's primary sub-network deployment, Bittensor Subnet 35, stalled and was subsequently discontinued and repurposed by the community into a separate initiative named Cartha.
AIT Protocol has experienced comprehensive operational and developmental decline. Code repositories have remained dormant without updates for 18 to 24 months, official community channels have ceased activity, and business databases such as PitchBook list the entity as out of business. Additionally, the AIT token underwent a severe market collapse, declining by more than 99.9% from its March 2024 all-time high of approximately $1.21, resulting in minimal trading volume and decentralized exchange liquidity falling to roughly $1.8K.
